So I'm a geek. I admit it. In fact, I embrace it. I am also an extremely creative and passionate individual. One might say that my geekdom is simply a reflection of that inherent passion. When I get into something, I go all the way, reveling in the understanding of the most minute details. The things I am most passionate about include music (both listening to it and creating/playing it), software development (my other creative outlet and my career), movies (I'm that dork who'll go to the theater alone because he's just GOT to see that new Kevin Smith flick even though everyone else in the world couldn't care less), literature (from Henry Miller to various books about music and musicians such as "Killing Yourself To Live" or "Heavier Than Heaven"), to playing and watching sports (mostly tennis and basketball). I sometimes feel like I've already lived three lifetimes, but I'm always ready for the next adventure and the next source of inspiration. I recently moved to Melbourne (after spending the last 12 years in Atlanta) as a result of being offered my dream job here. I'm enjoying it so far...I grew up down in Weston, so it feels really familiar in certain ways, but refreshingly unlike south Florida at the same time.
