My personality is what some may call odd. I'm a rather intelligent person (INTP personality) that tends to keep to myself. I am quick witted and snappy with a comeback, but I'm often dry and misunderstood. If this is due to my strange sense of humor or possibly that I may be talking over people's heads, I do not know. I just keep to myself and laugh quietly at the present circumstances with jokes I keep in my mind. I'm not one for flippant banter, and it bores me quickly.

I do speak long about topics I'm pationate about. I love debate. Not because I like to argue, but because I love the mental stimulation I get from the person/people I'm speaking with. Sometimes I debate about things where I know I'm in the wrong, just to enhance and continue the stimulation. I'm a terrific listener, and can take it all in for hours. I prefer face to face conversations. I'm not a fan of telephones, and the internet only tides me over when I have not seen anyone in person for a while. Don't get me wrong, I love forums and things of that ilk, but I just don't get the same thrill. I'm not a peppy person. I'm almost always on an even keel, never overly exited or succumbing to a burning anger. I have often been accused of being terribly hard to read, and for some reason I take great pride in that. I often think before I act, and research decisions before coming to a conclusion. That doesn't mean I don't take chances. I just take calculated risks. I make my own choices, and these choices are sometimes not the social norm. I'm a libertarian true to the word.

One thing I do believe is that chivalry is not dead. I'm a gentlemen to the core, and I will remain so till the day I die. I offer my hand to strangers and call them madam/sir. I'll gladly tip my hat at any passer by, and I try very hard not to judge by race or creed.


Regardless of what some females have told me, I refuse to be looked down upon because I hold a door for a lady. I will not be sternly spoken to because I let a woman go before myself or gave up a seat for her. No, it's not because I think she is too weak to open a door or stand for extended periods of time. It's because it had been instilled in me by my forefathers and I wish to retain the teachings of those of nobility. I believe that if more modern men thought the way I do the world would be a better place.

I have already mentioned the book thing, so there is that. I guess for me my goals are little more than to hold to my standards and morals and never waver. Find someone who likes me for who and am and not who they want me to be. That's about it, sorry if that makes me seem lethargic.

I enjoy video games of all kinds, role playing, reading, writing, web surfing, and debate. I go to concerts from time to time and when I'm feeling up to it (or when I'm dragged out) I'll go to a few bars. I tend not to go out locally too much though, as I can't stand country or rap "music". Sometimes when I'm feeling lucrative I may opt to partake in things "liberal."

occasionally I get the urge to pierce, tattoo, or dye something, but since it's expensive I don't indulge as often as I like.

But no matter what I'm doing there is always music playing in the background. Quite literally the only time I may not have music playing is when I'm walking to or from my car, and even then sometimes I'll have earbuds in. In case you're wondering, I'm listening to Wumpscut while writing this.
