I know EVERYONE says this, but I'm looking for someone who can also be my best friend, but as a demi****al, that's a lot more literal. I do want someone I can go on romantic walks with and stuff, but even more I want a relationship where we can just sit around in our underwear and play Borderlands and eat ice cream out of the tub together...and occasionally stop to make out XD.

Geekiness, a great sense of humor, interest in travel, similar taste in music, Christianity, similar political beliefs (or, considering that I'm an anarchist, the complete lack of political beliefs), compassionate about helping others, love of animals (and similar no-kill philosophy) and general weirdness and craziness are all essential. I also need someone who can deal with my depression when I get into one of my worse episodes (but I'm usually pretty funny and lots of fun to be with, so hopefully that won't get too in the way) and let me vent to them. I wouldn't be with someone who smokes or does drugs, but if someone where in the process of quitting, that'd be good enough for me. Some sort of artistic talent (preferably writing) is great but not essential. And I guess not wanting kids is important too, but adoption is still an option.

Physical attraction isn't really a big issue. As long as a girl is in shape, if I start feeling an emotional attraction I'll feel a physical attraction too, though I do prefer a flat, slightly muscular stomach. I'm also more attracted to a girl's style than her body. I like things like geeky t-shirts, cosplay, hair dye, piercings, tattoos, gothic/emo/punk/whatever clothing, things like that. Accents are also a plus.
